A broad temperature range from -30¡ÆC to 900¡ÆC (-25¡ÆF to 1600¡ÆF) and from -50¨¬ to 500¨¬C (-58 to 932¨¬F) with SubZero option and superior optics 60:1 for measuring from a greater distance or for smaller objects make the MX series the most advanced portable thermometer in the industry. The True Dimension¢â laser sighting system provides unrivaled, precise infrared beam tracking, resulting in more accurate measurement for critical readings.

    MX2 is a standard model in the Raytek MX Series of Noncontact IR Thermometers. This model offers optional features such as Close Focus and Sub Zero (from -58¨¬F to 932¨¬F) at no extra charge, which you can request at the time of purchase. For an additional charge, NIST Calibration Certification is available for the MX2 model.

    The Close Focus (CF) option lets you accurately measure very small areas at the Focus Point where the IR beam narrows. Paired with the advanced coaxial laser sighting, extremely small objects 6 mm (.24 in) can be easily measured. Ideal for electrical maintenance and refrigeration troubleshooting.

    The Sub Zero Option (SZ) option is designed for measuring lower temperatures. The SZ model uses an IR sensor specially calibrated to measure freezing temperatures from -50¨¬C (-58¨¬F) through 500¨¬C (932¨¬F.)

      MX4+ is an enhanced model in Raytek MX Series of noncontact IR Thermometers.       MX4+ NI Nonincendive Model

         

        The MX4+ NI is a high performance infrared thermometer for use in hazardous locations requiring a high-level safety approval.

        The MX4+ NI is for customers working in potentially explosive or flammable environments called Class I, Division 2.

        The MX4+NI has a wide temperature range (up to 1600¡ÆF/900¡ÆC), 60:1 optical performance, coaxial laser sighting, 100 location data-logging for downloading to a PC, emissivity table, and a Factory Mutual-approved external contact probe.

        Factory Mutual Research is an approving organization in the United States and, while businesses in many countries accept its approvals, FM approval may not be sufficient in some locales. Acceptance of FM approval will be dependent on the particular company, its location, and local regulation. The close focus (CF) and subzero (SZ) versions are not included in this approval.
