Measures viscosity instantly
With reliable one hand operation, the Viscotester can provide fast, accurate determinations of viscosity in fluids such as adhesives, paint, oils and fats, inks, pulp, rubber, foods, petroleum products and cosmetics. Merely immerse the spindle in the test material and flick the switch. The viscous drag on a rotating cylinder-driven by a governor-controlled micro-motor produces a deflection on the calibrated scale, proportional to the viscosity of the test material. Dimensions: 7 x 3.9 x 1.6" (18 x 10 x 4cm). Easy to clean with quick release accessories and is unequaled for on-the-spot measurements in the plant, laboratory, or out in the field. Four penlight batteries provide power and a low battery indicator is included.
Two models to choose from.
Low Range Viscotester. Measures low viscosity fluids from 2-330cP (mPa-s). Includes three interchangeable rotors, 2 sample cups and batteries.
High Range Viscotester. Most popular for fluids with viscosity ranging from caster oil or honey to tar. Covers 300 to 400,000cP (mPa-s). Complete with three interchangeable rotors, one rotor extension-extends the rotor arm by 1, 2 or 3ft. for use in deep vessels or high temperature fluids, one sample cup and batteries. |
