Original ActionI/Q Series
These DC-powered, fixed ranged, multi channel signal conditioners and isolators offer stable 0.1% accuracy over operating ambient temperature range of 20¡Æ to 80¡ÆC. Their multi-channel design ensures high density and low material cost. Plug-in terminal sockets makes wiring quick and easy. To isolate a powered 4-20mA loop, the Q500 loop powered isolator is available for one, two or four channel applications. Direct DC inputs, voltage or current can be specified by range for the Q501 two-wire transmitter with 4-20mA output, available in one or two channels. The Q510 two-wire transmitter provides two or four RTD input channels and the Q520 two-wire transmitter provides two channels for the most popular thermocouple types and ranges.
For voltage output signals (e.g. 0-10V) three-wire transmitters can be used. The Q414 and Q415 provide two RTD channels and either 4-20mA or 0-10V output signals, respectively. The Q424 and Q425 are two channel, thermocouple input, three-wire transmitters. Since three-wire transmitters use two wires for power and one wire for the output signal, which is referenced from the negative power supply terminal, the cost saving I/QRail can be employed. The I/QRail can distribute power to two, four or eight modules, saving wiring time on up to sixteen channels of I/O.

AC ActionI/Q Series
The AC-powered ActionI/Q Series of four-wire transmitters offers many of the most advanced microprocessor and ASIC based signal conditioning solutions available. Field configurable and wide ranging, these modules are an off the shelf solution for most isolation, signal conditioning and limit alarm applications. The benefits enjoyed by the users include lower spares inventories and quick availability for DC, RTD, thermocouple, potentiometer, strain gage, AC and frequency input signal applications.
Push button calibration with Action¡¯s unique TouchCal technology provides benefits in terms of increased stability, higher repeatability and accuracy since it replaces adjustment potentiometers, which can be thermally sensitive and mechanically less reliable.
Additional cost of ownership benefits are realized in terms of reduced calibration time from TouchCal technology and wiring savings from the I/QRail. The I/QRail is used to power all AC ActionI/Q modules and provides an added level of safety.
For temperature measurement, the model Q486 with patented Instant Accuracy cold junction compensation technology, is twice as accurate and four times as stable as older temperature measurement instruments. It can be field configured using DIP-switches or PC configured, which reduces set up time to seconds.

DC Action I/Q
The DC Action I/Q Series is very similar to the AC ActionI/Q product line. The DC ActionI/Q line is DC powered, accepting 9 to 30V. The DC-powered I/QRail is optional since the DC Action I/Qs have both DC power terminals as well as the power rail connector, unlike the AC ActionI/Q.
